Ottlite Craft Caddy Lamp: Review and Giveaway!

So today I am going to give you my two cents about the Ottlite Craft Caddy Lamp, are ya ready!

First off, I just love this thing!  It really is SO multifunctional, it's not just an awesomely bright light but it's also a great storage space for your smaller craft necessities.  Really, what's not to love about it...me likey so very much!

The neck on the lamp is very adjustable as you can see in the first two pictures.  It also can go straight up and down and the light bulb housing component is adjustable too, so if you need just the right angle of light to help you see some embroidery or any hand-stitching you may be doing this is your light!

The light even folds all the way in...see, now it's gone!  And the little compartments on either side of the light are removable so you can move sections of your goodies with you as need be :-)

Want to see something even cooler?  The Caddy has a moveable handle that you can pull forward and then carry the Caddy, light and all, anywhere you please.  Love that!  Then just tuck it away and totally outta sight when you are done.

Two other features I just about jumped for joy over are 1) the space saving cord cozy that allows you to wrap the cord when not in use so it's not just dangling around and becoming a magnet for your children.  2) the extra outlet that is built in the back.  So now if you have all your outlets used up near where you are seated you can still plug in your glue gun and hot glue like a crazy woman...woo hooo!

Okay, so do you want to win one of these beauties?  I thought you might!!

To enter this giveaway for one Ottlite Craft Caddy Lamp you can do any of the following for up to 3 entries per person (one entry per comment please!)

  22. oh me encanta!!!

  28. Maggie, the lighting in my studio is terrible. I would love to win this light. I just cleaned up my studio last night, and tonight need to get working in there. I'm part of a "heart" swap, and need to get my gifts done and in the mail by 8/26/11. Sorry I can't tell you what I'm working on, in case my swap partner reads your blog! :) Hope I win this great give-away!

  29. Awesome! This would be fantastic for learning all the new little buttons, stitches and threading of my brand new sewing machine! :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. I would love that! Anything that is multipurpose is awesome in my book :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. My Holly-Cave needs additional lighting that is quick and mobile. I currently have a stand -up five bulb college dorm room clearance priced gizmo sitting on my sewing table rigged to spotlight various aspects of what I'm working on. It works, but the cheesy factor is pretty high. Come to think of it, so are the lights. I have to stand up to adjust. Now, I'm not saying I'm lazy, buuuut it would be nice to just reach over and be able to adjust, not back the chair up, stand up, adjust, and then have to sit down and 'settle' back into the proper sewing position.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thank you for the opportunity! This would be perfect for me

  38. I do most of my sewing and crafting at night after the kids are in bed. This would be great to move things out of the way when I am finished to keep their inquisitive little hands away from the smaller parts of my projects. Right now I am working on coordinating outfits with hand embroidered appliques. (two dresses, one diaper cover, and a pair of overalls, with of course matching hairbows for the girls!) Up next will be still as of yet undecided halloween costumes.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oh I need this so bad! My craft room is in the basement with no windows and substandard lighting. This would be perfect on my desk so I can actually see with out sitting so close to my machine! And the extra outlet would be a lifesaver - I only have 2 outlets and they are on the wrong wall in my room. I already have extension cords but the extra outlet on this light would be perfect!

  156. I'm in the process of setting up my craft room in our old retro house and like every room there is terrible lighting. This would be perfect when I work on my new hobby of sewing. Love the napkin tute you posted recently. I've made a handful of truck napkins to inspire proper napkin use.:)
